Review: 2019 Turno De Noche Malbec

Very little to no information is available on this other than it originates from Mendoza. No website or tech sheets and the most I can come away with is that it is either produced or distributed by Boutinot, but even that leads to a dead end. It does appear that Boutinot really goes for the cutesy wine labels in their bottle design, as opposed to class. Cool. Now we have something to go on here. It would also help if they didn't have a website built in Adobe Page Mill, but whatever. That's not what we are here for.

Nose: Black cherry at first with notes of prune and cigar box arriving with some time in the glass. Not much else going on here.

Palate: As advertised on the nose. It's just cherry all up in here, with a bit of dark chocolate eventually arriving. Easily approachable but simple in construction. Medium body, acidity and grippy tannins.

Finish: Medium. Nothing new to report here. Essentially the same thing from start to finish.

When I need to show up somewhere, require a bottle in hand for the guest, and I'm wildly indifferent to it all (much like their website), I'll bring this along. Hopefully, it will send a subtle message, but it will likely be lost on the host.
