One of the three folks behind this blog will most definitely be in attendance for this event on April 30 in Portland. I am earnestly trying to get the other two boys behind this site to fly out for a weekend and meet me, but with soccer schedules and medical conferences around the same time it doesn't look like it's going to be possible. Their loss entirely.
There are going to be quite a few wineries participating. Some we have reviewed, others we have yet to review, and some we'd care not to comment upon. I also kind of wish it weren't just a one-day thing, but baby steps with this conference I suppose.
It is being organized by JP Valot of Valcan Cellars and proceeds are going to a fantastic cause. If you are a domestic Malbec fan, this is the event of the year. See you there.
