The last few years of Domaine releases have been immensely pleasurable and probably one of the better values on the market. It consistently scores high marks against bottles that are 2/3x the price tag, with greater accessibility.
If you're expecting the traditional Domaine Malbec flavor profile, this will be familiar but welcome territory: fruity aroma with raspberry, blackberry, and plum. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, blackberry, and hibiscus on the palate that carries forward to the lengthy finish. It's very hard to put this down.
