All this week we've been looking at Malbec currently sitting on the shelf at or under $10 USD.
This is as blunt of a Malbec one may find, and by blunt, I mean borderline assault. Absent nearly any sort of structure or form, it's a jammy, thin stew of berry notes with a minimal finish of wet leaves and stone. I can't wait for this week to be done and over with. Spend $5 more and find something a bit more agreeable for your soul.
