World Malbec Day Part 1

World Malbec Day arrives on April 17. While I, (Todd Bonzalez Jr.), can't figure out exactly when this was decided, who decided it and why it is in April, I'm glad for any day that brings awareness to the situation.

The Royal Gazette, which sounds dubiously like a content farm from Hogwart's, ran this advertorial, but it left me with more questions than answers like most things I read. Another content farmy-thing suggested a bunch of Malbecs for me to try on the holiday.

Something that's better to read: this breakdown of Mendoza from Forbes, whose wine coverage is far better than their dungfarm of bourbon/whiskey content. Also has a very nice interview with Luiga Bosca's Pablo Cúneo as a bonus.

Last two things: if you haven't, be sure to visit the impressive jukebox being amassed on the Album of the Week Archive. Also, a reminder: if you are trying to reach us the email address will suffice. We've unanimously decided that social media and comments are not the way for our group to go.

Now go get Monday, champ.
